MYFC is also delighted to confirm the winner of last season’s 2019-20 awards:
– Public and Parents Vote: Olivia Hancock (U13 Angels and mixed)
– Club Vote: Olivia Hancock (U13 Angels and mixed)
Many congratulations to Mia, Niamh and Olivia, and to all of the players who were nominated this season and last – they all deserve great credit for their outstanding contribution to their teams and their Club.
The voting for this season’s awards broke all records and went down to the wire. Voting was overseen by Club Chair, Stu Slater, who this year needed to use a casting vote to determine the Club Vote winner as the numbers were tied! “These awards are important Club tradition: a celebration of all of our players’ achievements after a very challenging season indeed. There is always a positive to be found in the most challenging of circumstances, and for me, the past 18 months have shown us all the importance of grassroots community sport, and also demonstrated the strength and resilience of the Club; both volunteers and players”.
We always need more volunteers to support our players and ensure the Club grows sustainably. There are lot of different ways you can help so please contact our Club Chair Stu Slater by PM or e-mail email@example.com
